Logic Pro 13 adds an AI assistant that can control your project — Sunday Loop #020
Why Sunday Loop exists
The week moves fast. Between work, sessions, and everything else, the good reads get lost in the noise.
Every Sunday evening I share a few links — things I found worth reading during the week. Logic Pro, sound design, sampling, the occasional curveball. No algorithms, no filler. Just a few things I’d genuinely recommend to a friend.
Grab a coffee. It won’t take long.

The headline feature of Logic Pro 13 is an AI Assistant that works on your project directly: ask in the chat panel and it adds tracks, opens plugins or adjusts levels. It runs on models from OpenAI and Apple, needs macOS 27 Golden Gate on an Apple Intelligence Mac, and launches in November as an English-only beta. The redesigned Browser tags your library on device, so you can type “heavy techno drums” or drop in an audio file to find similar sounds, and Splice is now built in.

Logic Pro 13 is a free update for existing users, while new users pay $199.99 or get it through Creator Studio for $12.99 a month or $129 a year. Stem Splitter can now isolate, replace and rebalance drum parts without the original multitracks, and Voice Memo Studio Sound removes room noise from iPhone recordings. Apple has not said yet whether Logic Pro for iPad gets an update.
Sunday Loop is published every Sunday evening. If you want it delivered to your inbox, subscribe to the newsletter.
